Living at Stanford brings surprises and new experiences every day, in an extraordinary community of creative and accomplished people from around the world.

Equipping our students with all they need to succeed is important to us. That’s why we’ve invested in brand new, innovative learning facilities to ensure you’re ready to get down to work, no matter what you study.

There’s plenty of places to grab a coffee and snack around campus including Campus Cafetaria, Tanzanian Training Centre for International Health, Paradise Hotel, Marangu Pub & Restaurent, Kilombero Mbega Hotel and the Mama Ntilies Fast Food Points. If you’re craving a big breakfast or burger, head to the Paradise Hotel. These also transform into buzzing bars come the evening, offering a fun yet safe place to socialise.

Moving home is a big part of your university experience. We offer accommodation types to suit everyone. All either on, or close to campus. Our Stoke-on-Trent accommodation is undergoing a huge renovation.

Tuition fees, accommodation costs, food, clothing, books, travel and socialising all need covering during your studies. This may sound daunting. However, this is where we have a real edge. The city of Ifakara offers a very competitive cost of living compared to other cities, meaning that you can get your education at a much lower cost.

We have plenty of comfortable social spaces dotted all over the campus, perfect for meeting friends, studying in peace or somewhere for you to come and relax at the end of a busy day or season

We strive to inspire our students, staff and local community to stay active and reach their potential in sport and fitness. SFUCHAS is recognising sporting tradition as it is for its excellence in education, learning and research.
